Ed
Rhoades is a singer, songwriter from Catawissa who performed extensively
in the Philadelphia area before moving back upstate.
He has performed his original compositions on radio stations, WMMR, WIOQ, WXPN, TV 29, The Philadelphia Hometown Album and numerous night spots, concerts, festivals and clubs. His groups included, Sage, Watertite, and the local dance band, Starpath. Their selections at MusicFest 2003 featured flute, harmonica and acoustic
guitar styles in a mixed selection that was an eclectic blend of blues,
pop, and original and obscure compositions. |

Ed is currently working on recording projects in his home studio and will be playing at the King Street Coffeehouse November 17, 2003. Accompanying him on flute was his daughter, Heather, who will be a student at Bloomsburg University in the fall, and guitarist and blues harp player John Sweeney.

John has been part of the local music scene playing various venues, and Heather and her father have played as a duet and with bands at songwriting workshops, and coffeehouse concerts in the area. | |
